Der Vollkunststoffisolator Form 242 S mit Profilstütze und Splint ist aus einem bis –22° C bruchsicheren und UV stabilisierten Kunststoff gefertigt. Formgebung und Material bedingen hohe Isolationswerte (24.000 Volt) trocken und (16.000 – 18.000 Volt) bei Nässe und bester Handhabbarkeit.
